Currently, the weapons section of Quake 2 is under development. Some important aspects of the weapons page will be the pros and cons for each weapon, and the strategies used to conquer quake with these weapons. The strategies can also be accessed at the future Strategy section.

The scariest thing in multiplayer quake is when you fight one on one rail. If you haven't seen Quake 2 before, railguns shoot these transparent blue streaks, and this gun resembles the same basic function of a sniper. This gun has a 2 second reload time, which makes this type of match so scary in that your opponent can fire his or her railgun while you are reloading. Of course, the railgun, as do all other sniper weapons, can kill in one shot unless your opponent has armor or the megahealth.

My opponent here was JAM-ZAPPA. He is probably one of the best railers I've ever seen so far. We played 4 rounds. I won 1 round and he wupped my ass in the rest. He challenged me to a 1 on 1 rail match since he saw me railing so many people in a regular deathmatch.

Quake 2: The Story is up!

Quake 2: The Story can be read here. I typed up the story that can be found in your Quake 2 manual. If you don't have the manual or the game, read it if you want. The story is very similar to that of Quake I. Quake III Arena is entirely different. It sends you into tourneys to fight for the almighty champion of Quake. All in all, Q3A is just a deathmatch fest, while Quake 2 still has some plot and storyline behind it.

Hey, nice ass! Anyway, quite by chance, I randomly took a screenshot of this player, only to find out I took an @$$ pic for some reason. This is probably the cause of delayed snapshots in quake 2. Today's matches were very easy. I slacked off today, and joined a newbie room, and eliminated my clan prefix, so that I would look sort of like a newbie. We didn't play deathmatch levels, instead, we focused our bloodfest on some of the single player levels such as "mine entrance" or "ammo depot" particularly because of the fact that deathmatch levels are too trite now.

LAG! is the reason how I took this snapshot. I waited for 5 minutes at least, only to realize that I wouldn't be able to play anymore, so I took this picture. The opponent could have been HeLLzWiZard or someone from the Fmax clan. I forgot, but anyway, if he didn't encounter lag, then I'm pretty sure that I was railed. Don't you hate it when this happens?

Today, I competed intensely in a DBZ tryout match against 4 other worthy opponents, DBZ Vegita, lord_ny1, HeLLzWiZaRd, and Fmax-something. lord_ny1 won a quick and easy match up to 30 frags. Next game, he left, and I won a sim[ple game again, only until my butt was kicked by HeLLzWiZaRd and Fmax. It was a pretty close game, I had 10, HeLLzWiZaRd had 9, and Fmax-something had 15. I still don't know how to double jump to get the megahealth in the edge!
